So here is a brief bio. I was born in Illinois but moved to Vegas at a young age and still live here. I went to college to major in english/creative writing but dropped out because of not enough financing. My dream job would be to own a used bookstore with a cat prowling around it. Obviously my favorite thing is to read. Sometimes I read too much. I'm basically shy and awkward but that's okay. I think I have a good sense of humor. I love to read mysteries,supernatural/paranormal, and fantasy. I also enjoy movies, sightseeing, travel, and too many sweets. If you're still awake WELCOME AND ENJOY! Anyone's welcome to friend me, I only bite those who steal my books.

When you hit your head make sure you're not that far off the ground so when you fall....you don't hit your head.

Today you are you
That is truer than true
There is no one alive
Who is youer than you.

- Dr. Seuss

I am what I am, and what I am is what I am. I have a will to be what I am, and what I will be is only what I am. If I have a will to be, I will be no more than what I was. If I was what I am willed to be, yet they ever will be wondering what I am or what I ever was.

---The Rose Labrynth by Hardie

If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,--
That you have but slumber'd here,
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend:
If you pardon, we will mend.
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to 'scape the serpent's tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call:
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.

A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

Live long or die trying

'Si non confectus, non reficiat' - 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

As Emerson said, "Language is a city to the building of which every human being brought a stone."

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
